Hi, I am Jeff, the owner, and lead Dallas portrait photographer,

I am a movie-holic. I simply can’t get enough. When I am not working or attempting to cook a new meal, you will probably catch me watching movies.

I get a lot of inspiration from movies that carries over to my photography. But overall they are just a ton of fun. Some of my favorites are anything by Christopher Nolan, Karate Kid, Garden State, Back to the Future, Superhero movies, The Big Lebowski, and so many more!

Traveling across the world is a goal of mine. This past year I got to spend almost a month exploring Italy. There are so many more places on my bucket list.

A little-known fact about me is that I use to be a drummer, guitar player, and singer since I was in the 5th grade. I started a music company when I was 18 in college, promoting bands and concerts, which is actually where my love of photography began.

Music is still a huge passion of mine, and I claim to have one of the most eclectic iTunes music collection that you will find. Everything from Scottish rock to rap and everything in between.

I have now photographed amazing weddings, won multiple international awards, been honored by Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine, educated other photographers across the country, and most importantly have crafted stunning wedding albums for couples they will have forever. I love this job.

About the Studio

Jeff Dietz Photography opened it’s doors in Scranton Pennsylvania in 2006, quickly becoming one of the leading wedding photographers on the East Coast, winning multiple international awards and publications. We also developed a much more meaningful approach to Engagement photos.

We decided to start a new venture and relocated to Northern Texas, in the town of McKinney, serving all of the surrounding areas.

Our new studio space is in a home environment which is comfortable and inviting. We have the ability to photograph you on multiple backdrops. We also feature our dedicated Artwork Showroom where we will meet with you after your session to help you select beautiful artwork for your home.

Hours & Location

9868 Wild Ginger Drive McKinney, TX 75072

Our location is on the West side of McKinney on the border next to Frisco. It is located right down the street from Heritage High School and Independence High School. We are less than 15 minutes from downtown McKinney and equal distance to downtown Frisco, Prosper, Allen, and Melissa. It’s a perfect location for us to meet with everyone. Local, on location sessions are available anywhere in the DFW area. Farther locations may require a travel fee. We are also available for destinations anywhere in the world with an added travel fee that is quoted for each job. 

All hours are currently by appointment only. We can normally be reached by phone between the following hours:

Monday – Friday – 9am-7pm

Saturday – Sunday – 10am-5pm
